The Intellitite downhole dual-seal dry-mate connector is used in splicing electrical and optical cables and cable heads for WellWatcher permanent monitoring systems and intelligent completion systems.

In monitoring systems that use the traditional compression fittings, failures can occur at the gauge cable head over time as a result of microleaks and fluid.
